Today I traded my PSE Rogue-X for a Hoyt Trykon 75th anniversary edition. We traded bows and quivers only, I will be keeping my QAD rest and Octane Stab for the Hoyt. I never really like the way the Rogue-X shot or felt in my hand and I feel I will get more use out of the Hoyt than the PSE.

We will be trading bows tomorrow and I will have the Trykon set up as soon as I can. I never really like the PSE but it was a free bow so I just put up with the things I didn't like. It has a hard pull and like you said at 60lb it felt like a 70lb bow. If I was going to purchase a bow the Rogue would not be in the running that is for sure. Some people may like it but I just couldn't get comfortable with the way it shot.

The other guy is a friend of mine who sold his bow when money got tight. He bought the Trykon off his friend but said he all ways liked PSE ;D,who was I to argue with him when a trade was in the mix The Trykon is a 2006, DW 50/60 lbs. and 29" DL and the PSE is a 2008, DW 50/60 lbs. and 29" DL so I told him I would trade him the PSE for his Hoyt straight up. He shot the PSE and liked it so we traded and I felt to make the trade a little more even I threw in 1/2 dozen of PSE carbon force arrows I had. The Trykon is a way better bow than the Rogue IMO. I wanted a back up bow for the A-max 32 if some thing should go wrong and the Trykon is real close to the same ATA of the A-Max 32 and the Trykon will be set up the same as the A-max.

The Trykon was a sweet bow in '06. Too bad you had to part with the Carbon Force arrows...I really like them.

The carbon force being a wrapped carbon arrow is not as strong as the X-weaved carbon fiber arrows. Another thing he is a friend and is low on cash and needed arrows, so instead of just giving them to him I put them in with the trade so no hard feelings would be had and with him being good friend I wouldn't have accepted any money for them any way. He needed them and I had them so the answer was simple to me.

Ahh. The X Weaves are made by Carbon Force. I thought you were talking about them. You gave him the older version...still a nice arrow, but I agree..the X Weave is the sh$t.

What are friends for if you can't help each other out from time to time, even if your friend is unaware of it
