Trying to get two identical bows to shoot the same with different sights and rests can put you in the nut house. I have my old W/B on the new bow and was going to replace it with anouther Ripcord.I like and have had no problems with the Ripcord but have heard good thongs about the QAD.My question is why are there I believe three different ones of the same model .If I can get away with the cheep hunter I would but I don't need one that will not last with all the shooting I do.Any one have one and any comments.

cheap one works fine ... depending on how you like to shoot it may be better. The pro version has anti- bounse and may stick as you draw and then bounce the arrow up - solution is to always cock the rest to the locked position and then draw. cheap version does not have that feature and draws from the shelf nice.

I put a Ripcord on my Vectrix and did not like it, the rest slapped the shelf so hard it would knock itself out of alignment and was the loudest noise on the bow. I swapped for the Trophy Taker FC and love it, the Ripcord is in my trading stock pile. That said I have friends that swear by the Ripcord - guess bottom line is depends on the bow.

I'm one of those "Swear by the Ripcord" guys. One of the best rests out there IMHO. The Quad is a good rest also, but I would make sure I got the HD Pro Series. Spend the cash, and get the top model. That said, the Ripcord has one model, and it rocks.

QAD has four models to choose from the HD, LD, PRO-SERIES and the HUNTER in that order with the HD being the top model. I would go with the HD or the LD the only difference is between the two is the HD has "HDT" harmonic dampener technology. "Timing cord lock" so you can serve the cord into your string of your bow then set the rest for optimum performance. A larger thumb lever for ease of raising and lowering the rest. The only other difference is the camo option. The HD and LD both have "LDT" lock down technology so after the shot the rest won't bounce back up and hit the arrow. I really like this feature. Only the HD, LD, and PRO-SERIES come with a limited lifetime warranty the hunter does not. The hunter QAD rest you are limited on you adjustments of the rest but it is a good rest with out all the extra technology. Well those are the difference between them all you get what you pay for That said I have a QAD Pro HD Rest on both my bows and I can't say enough good things about this rest, I really like it a lot.

I'm trophytaker guy because that's what I started with but I've shot both of Buckshots bows and those rest operate great. I also say spend the money for the better model. Bass N Bucks bought his off of Ebay for 125.00 I believe.
