It's killing me. My bow is in the shop for a week to ten days. I am getting a new Winner's Choice string and harness installed, new cam bushings and new cable slide. I just hope it doesn't shoot much different than before although I have been told that I may have to make some adjustments because the old string was stretched a couple of inches. I was also told I may lose some speed so now I am looking a carbons and getting down to about 375 gr. total arrow weight. Looking at Beaman ICS, Gold Tip, and Eastons new Flatline. We'll see next week.

madoktor, Sounds like a good excuse to shoot more once you get it back. On a serious note I would definitely tune the bow again after you get it back just to be sure everything is in alignment. Also remember that your string will still stretch a little so put a few shots through it before making the final adjustments and doing some serious fine tuning. With the string streched a few inches that would definitely shorten your brace height thus giving you little more speed but I wont imagine the speed difference to be too drastic so I wouldn't worry to much. Either way have fun shooting it once you get it back.

Craig, I will definitely shoot more when I get it back. The wife and kids are going on vacation for 9 days in a couple of weeks so I will have a lot of "me" time. LOL. I already plan to spend large amounts of time at the range.
BT, I think I played with one too much Fri. LOL.

I got my bow back today and went to the backyard when I got home. It shoots great and is quieter than before. I did have to adjust the sight a little though but it grouping great. I believe I lost a little speed but it's not noticeable until the long shots. I needed to replace the tape on my sight anyways so it's a good excuse. LOL. I will chrono it when work slows some and I can get to the shop. Funny thing though, my 2413's and my 2219's are hitting together out to 30 yds. and the 2219's are just a little lower at 40 and 50. I'll know a lot more and better when I hit the range in about a week.
The cam lean is gone. He replaced the bushings and axles and went to a little different set up for the cables that works a lot better. It's pulling 72# and holding 25.2#. I also have a better loop now too. Now it's time to get it bloody. Come on Sept.

Thats weird ... the 2219 are staying with the 2413 ? Imagine that! If nothing else, I would expect the 24 to hit higher ff the same rest setting based solely on the diameter differential. It's good news that the cam are back in shape

Wow a bow shop that delivers. Thats cool Bob His brother in law runs the company that services our vending machines at work. Tracy, the owner of the bow shop, does it as a side business. He works nights and i have been working overtime so he brought it to me at work. It is cool though. I can order something and Martin brings it to me and i give him a check for Tracy. Thats what i call service.
