Problem solved.... Guess me and the bow shop staff both dropped the ball on this one. Turns out I've got a massive case of wussitis. ;D I went back to the bowshop and asked to shoot the Desert Stryker. The DS is 30lbs lighter in draw weight, 155lbs vs the strykeForce's 185lbs. They're both the same length, so if I can't get the DS drawn all the way, then we know to break out the limb stretcher cocking the DS was a breeze Guess I'm not so short afterall. Just weak. I traded in the StrykeForce for the DS and got a discount as well. Got rid of that horrendous reddot scope and mounted on a Parker Redhot multireticle scope (same as the Hawke scopes, I believe). I sighted in the bow in @ 20yds, where I was easily able to group within 1". I'm not going 385fps, but I am shooting 350fps. I'm not complaining.

I am glad that you were able to get it ironed out, but when I look at the pictures that you posted I have a question. Was matching the Camo pattern to your purse a factor in your new xbow?? Bob

Doegirl a friend of mine has a Strykeforce he loves it and has taken some really nice bucks with it. He has a cock cranker on it i dont know what it is when i see him again i will ask him. I will stick with my tenpoint the Strykeforce is a little to pricey for my wallet and at 280fps it does the job .. Good luck happy shooting.. Andy

Glad to see that you got this all worked out Doegirl. You seem to attract these issues when speaking about your bows.

I will be interested to know if you can use a rope cocker to cock that bow in a tree stand.
