Got my new bow

Well now we have twins ;D.I noticed the chance of a
problem if my bow went down during hunting season.
I love the Mathews Mustang so ordered anouther.26"
draw 40-50 lb pull.Came out of the box at 56lbs and
shot 270 fps with cx-100s.I'll still use my old bow till
I get used to the new one.Now I have two bows to give
me headaches.I was shooting today and not paying
attention and hit my release on the draw--ENDED UP
WITH A BLOODY NOSE ;DFound the arrow and DID IT
AGAIN 10 min later.That time I never found the arrow.

a little trick is to never draw your bow with your trigger finger in front of the trigger - leave the finger behind, holding the trigger forward...

You should be a happy man for a while! (Minus the whole nose episode...) Once you get the new one dialed, I would be interested in hearing how both bows shoot - sort of head to head if you will. One time shoot one bow first, next time shoot the other bow first. Just curious about how much difference there might be, if any, for you as the shooter.

Those are sweet bows. My buddy owns the local archery shop where i live, and i have shot several of his Mathews demo bows. Even set one up and took it hunting one day. I've been solely trad for several years, but I've always liked shooting compounds. Im thinking of getting the new Mathews Monster when I get home, or possibly the DXT..can decide which tho. And then there the Reezen .............. Guess I got some more shooting to do

Thats a funny story
Two bows is a great idea but to be sure....it can also be a headache.
