I picked up a used 50# Hoyt Gamemaster 2 from a guy on another site for a very good price. I want a 60#er but I can get another set of limbs and still be right around the price of a new one...but with 2 sets of limbs. I shot it for a few minutes today and it's awesome. I was shooting fist size groups at 20yds right away. It's a Hoyt riser and grip so it feels so natural to me and hand placement is half the battle with stick bow accuracy. I love how shock free the bow is and how small it breaks down into it's case. I hope to really get it set up perfect soon and see what she'll really do. I'll get some pics of it up soon.

Here is the case it comes in. That is a 29" arrow sitting on top of it Here it is all strung up. It has the short limbs on it, so it's 58" long

Occasionally there are people selling limbs for these bows at a pretty good prices. I also think that there are after market limb that will fit on the riser.

Skip, that's a sweet bow! It looks like a pool stick in that case. Must make it great to travel with. Recurves don't usually fit well in the back seat..congrats!

I have been wanting to try to shoot trad for awhile and I have looked at bows from many different makers. This one looks like one of the easiest ones to trans port to and from the field. I haven't ever heard from anyone how the Hoyt trad bows shoots but it sounds as if it is a good bow. Congrats on the find and keep us posted on how you like it.

Thats a sweet looking rig. We have a guy in our club who moved to Texas has a similar bow not sure of the model but it smoked for a trad bow.
