Does anyone have an opinion on the new Mid Atlantic Archery Tri-Van arrow rest coming out next month ? It's kind of a combination capture and drop rest .....

Looks like it could work. I've come to the conclusion that the only way to know is to try it. But, my GKF TKO still works like a charm, and I haven't found anything that works any better, and I've got the receipts to prove it. The one thing that bothers me just on sight is all those arms that have to work at once. The more parts that move on anything, the more your odds increase that something is going to make noise...eventually.

Yes and I also was wondering about what it was made of ?? I e-mailed the co. about it and they kinda worked their way around the answer.... It can't make any more noise then the drop away I now have.... I was about to order a capture rest when I saw this had come out but it's not available yet... I guess I have a little while to make a decision on it.

I love the concept, except that they use brushes, and don't have a vertical adjustment. Very similar to the Original WB. Now the rest that I like...not that it's out yet, is the Athens Omega Rest...check this thing out, it seems to be very high quality, with a high price to go with it. www.athensarchery.com/alpha.htmlHere's a vid with an over distorted soundtrack...but you can get an idea of how it works...(I tried to do a soundtrack for them, but they ignored me). I think this is a new breed of "Disappearing" rests. I'm in favor 100%. I'm waiting for Athens to release theirs soon. Here's the Tri Van....the guy says it's machined aluminum...sound like it makes a bit of noise... www.youtube.com/watch?v=r34al8MkwX4&feature=related
