Greg - My thought was that I would have this ready to ship to you this weekend. However, I just found out that I have to be in Albuquerque this weekend... This means leaving Friday about 2 in the afternoon and not getting home until probably after 9 PM Sunday night. That would leave tonight and Thursday night after work to finish getting through the glue up - I don't see that happening. Thursday night my youngest gets accepted in to the National Honors Society, so thats gone. Which really just leaves tonight, and I have to use that to get stuff ready to go Friday afternoon! I refuse to rush through the glue up process. If you get something wrong there, then the bow is junk. SOOOOO, this is looking like it will run into next week to finish getting it ready to send out to you. Sorry!
By the way, once this bow is glued up I am sending it to Greg. He is going to finish it as a true build along on this thread. So, his questions and input might be really cool for those of you who are thinking about building this type of bow. I am also making another bow, the same pattern - but probably out of hickory - so that we can compare notes as we both work through those steps that come after the bamboo is glued to the belly stock.

No rush buddy. Building a bow is not the most important thing in life and not worth stressing over......we'll get it done in time.
Congrats to your youngest, National Honor Society is a big deal!
Don't worry I'll have a lot of questions for everybody to follow! Hahaha

Thanks for the information, but for me that all has to be translated to where I live, availability of these exotic woods and my limited amount of wood working equipment and the skill needed to get the job done properly. This sounds to me like my kind of challenge. I hope I am up for it soon.
