It appears that Jennifer failed to fill you in on the full story here so let me elaborate.... You see, poor sweet little Jennifer can't whistle so she can't get a slow moving deer to stop long enough to squeeze off a shot. Even after plenty of practice with live moving targets on the first day out during gun season she still couldn't get the hang of it. After much ribbing from my dad and I she snuck off to BPS in the middle of the night and returned with a spiffy new whistle the next morning. She tried to feed us some excuse about her sister going into labor, but we all knew what her real motivation for the road trip was. Unfortunately her spiffy new whistle must have been defective, for try as she might she still couldn't hit nuffin even after they stopped moving. ;D (btw, if I suddenly disappear it means Jen has me tied up to a tuff block somewhere and is using me for target practice for ratting her out. ;D ) |

O.K., it's on... Only if we were using 300Win Mags with scopes set on 14 power would we have a snowball's chance in hell at getting a deer that week. Sorry, but I'm just not practiced up on 150yd+ running shots. I made the mistake of switching up my load at the last minute and I paid for that. Yeah let's just bring to light the fact that I double loaded my muzzie one afternoon. If I don't mention that sure as heck you will ;D And what about that gun you brought that would have made a great scattergun? It certainly did not like hitting the target. Or maybe it wasn't the gun..Hmmm  ;D |
