Don't forget to bend those carbon arrows well after every shot And listen for small sounds such as carbon fibers would make if they were seperated...dont just look

Don't forget to bend those carbon arrows well after every shot And listen for small sounds such as carbon fibers would make if they were seperated...dont just look How will that work for me when I can't "hear" at all..."don't just look" if not that way then how about feelings? Deaf people have powerful "feelings" with sounds around them (if it gets to them). I'm a cnc programer machinist and I use feelings alot on how the machine is running. Hearing guys would come up to me and wonder how did I know something was going on and make some adjustments, I do both things by sight and feelings. Those kind of arrows do scare me. I'm shooting them right now. When I felt it did hit something hard I do be sure it is still good but do I know any more farther than that? I don't. What's the other trick? One says bend them just enough and look for fine cracks...to me you would be needing those 10x eye lupes to see that close for it. That guy who "shot" his hand, what happened just before his hand?

Thank you for bringing up this point as it pertains to using only one method to check. Talcum powder is another way to visually check shafts. With your hands coated....whipe down the shaft well while it is bent. Then , when it is all white with the dust....whip the shaft down with a tissue once. (from top to bottom) Now it should be easy to see any cracks as they will hold the powder. Also.... A white dipped shaft is ALOT easier to see cracks in
