I had a morrell once, for a couple hours........ got a new bow, new target.. it was cold and blowing hard outside, the wife was at work so I decided I'd shoot it down the hall, so I set up some couch cushions(2) with the target in front... stepped into the kitchen to shoot over the bar.. bout 12 yds..... first arrow disapeared with an aweful....WHAMMMM!!.. so I move the target, the cushions, and see a little hole in the wall...arrow???.....well on the other side of that wall was our 3 day old washer and dryer........ opened the dryer door.......it now had a towel, sock or whatever rack.....OOOPS! so I broke out the arrow, grabbed a ball peen and fixed it best I could.... which must have been pretty good cause the wife never noticed!.... and I am still married,lol,lol..... happened 11 years ago..... so I learned.. never.. ever... shoot a 96# compound in the house. Oh man...laughing my fanny off. What a great story. I can imagine the panic and furry of the attempted cover-up. Glad you were able to get away with it...I am usually not that lucky.

Yeah, that's the problem with high speed bows.....you need high speed targets, which are a little behind the times....my wife does fine with the Morrel with her Diamond Edge at 42#......but I have buried a fletch or two in it when she wasn't looking...

Hahhaahahha ;D That is great! I have never shot an arrow into anything in my house, but my buddy shot through his target and into a water pipe in his condo basement! What a mess. rreda is a member here and he shot one into his wall.........I believe it still remains there as a conversation piece
