Went out this morning early to get good lighting
condition's I still have difficulty in some light.Yesterday
I put the cover over my sight fibers (its plastic and I
think for glowsticks)In bright light the .29 pins are like
light bulbs. In direct bright sun the cover tones the pins
down so you don't get the halo affect.
To day I wanted to see if there wes any difference in a
Benan 500 26" with a 75 gr. F/P and a Goldtip 3555 with
a 85 gr. F/P.I shot the two cold and thats all.My first shots
are always my best since I still get a little shaky after
shooting a while and can't honestly say if it's me or the
equipment. These two were @ 40 yds,and will be the gr.
heads I'll be playing around with.
The Gold tip 3555 (USA) arrows I got 11 with 4" veins
a carrying case and a bag of new nocks for $28.50.They
were cut to my 26" deaw.I dont like the 4" veins and just
wanted to give them a try. They suck! I will take them off
and play around with feathers. The one thing I noticed was
when I put the Goldtips on the scale the difference between
the Goldtips was VERY small much better than the Beman
that I have been shooting with.I started using my gun
targets because it helps these old eyes see the bull better
because of the sharp contrast and at 40 yds. the 2" dots
get covered by my sight
