Giving some thought to trying new arrows just for grins.I look at the spine chart for maxima's and see that with a 46-51# bow they show 26"none 27"none and 28"- 250's With 52#-57# and 26"- 250's I (should) be 26"at 50-54 # Should I go with 150's

thats right in the area of one way or the other. I wouldn't hesitate to go for the 150 shafts with a 75gr. head and could easily make a 100gr. head work. The original intent of the Maxima line was to have the elimination of one line (400) and having the remaining three cover that range. I have found that this works very well. While I would have gone with a 200 years ago, the 150 would now be my go to shaft at your spec.. I set up many 50# @ 25" with the 100 series, the 150 deflection should easily make up for the x-tra inch and 4#.

Tracey shoots the maxima hunters 250's. She pulls about 50 to 52 lb. and they are cut at 26 in. they they fly perfectly for her. Her's tipped with a 100 grain Muzzy MX's

Save your money on the Maximas, and get PSE Radial X Weaves. I have shot them back to back, and the X Weaves are every bit the arrow that the Maximas are, if not better. And ...the best part is that they are much cheaper. Oh...I just saw that you got a good deal on them...never mind.

X2, if you want to play with something a little lighter in weight than the 250's, I would look into X Weave 100's
