Well, the season is here and as usual I’m tinkering to the very last moment.
I had planned on using Speed Pro 5.5 gr arrows with 100 gr Bunker Busters at 352 fps. Initially thing looked great. I had set up three arrows a while back and they flew right with my field points. After I set up the rest of the arrows I ran into problems. Five grouped together in one place and the others just meandered all over the target.
Those wandering arrows had a little flip and kick to them. So I dropped the draw weight down to 60lbs and every thing was beautiful. Definitely a spine problem. However, I did not buy a hot rod just idle round in.
So back up to 70lbs and I switched to the 6.2gr Speed Pros. Gorgeous arrow flight, and even though they are a little heavier they hit just a little higher and to the right. A couple of gang adjustments was all it took and joy and happiness reigned again.
Looks like I’ll be hunting in the rain tomorrow. Oh well… at least I’ll be hunting.

Good deal. I had heard that the speed pro's were not great as to spine difference within a group but had no experience with them. Guess it's all working out for you and I sure hope you remember to take that camera with you tomorrow
