I went to by arrows today and I also picked up a Carter Hunter back tension release. From the limited time I had to play with it, it works well but I'm shooting low by a hole pin I know I just got it but it seems to be consistently low. Is this common with Back tension or is it me?

Not having seen it I would wonder if it were due to and anchor issue I believe you have a string loop correct?...that would rule out a different pinch on the string itself. Is it consistent between all the pins?.

Ok, after launching a few errant arrows into my neighbors yd I am getting more comfortable with the release.Yes BT it is an anchor issue and I'm working on it. I don't have a loop but the release does, its just a totally different way to anchor {your hand is facing out and knuckles under the jaw bone. I do see where it helps and I am getting more consistent groups already Might even bring it on Sun. got your Insurance paid up ???
