My question is I have a PSE PRIMOS STL NRG shooting 29" @ 67#@ 312 fps. I'm using pse radial X weave 200 and 100 grain nightmares. Do you think I would get better penetration from a heavier arrow and still keep good groups with my arrows. My arrow length is 29.5" and I have robin hood arrows out to 40 yards with this setup. I believe if it's not broke don't fix it, but do you think I could benefit from a heavier arrow ?

After getting back from Africa and shooting a bunch of game, some large and big boned, I now lean toward the heavier shafts. You groups should be tighter, Your bow will be quieter and you will have more punch down range. You'll drop some FPS but not enough to worry about.

Thanks for your advice. I was wanting to go to a heavier arrow but before I spent the money was wanting some real life experiences. Thanks for your advice.
