I wish you well and hope that you run out of stock and have to get more and make some profit by the end of 2009. Great invention and from what I hear from the guys on here they are the ones to have. Nicely done

No issue here. It is just, as you mention, "common folks" forget to take all those "COST" into consideration. I am just glad that you recognize them now, and would appreciate how crazy cost really is/are/will be and had been. By the way, Firenock LLC do make Lightning Nock which retail for $12.95 each for the budget minded folks. You do not have to wait till the kids move out to use the best design lighted nock. Like I was once told. We all like Bentley, but most of us drive VW (you do know that VW owns Bentley!), Or should I said, Cadillac and Chevrolet here in US!! LOL

osomemac,
its early yet but carbon Express now has the CX Laser Eye. They come in three florescent colors: red, yellow and green. They weigh ~ 18 grains. They retail for 8.99 each. From what I can tell they are very similar to the Archers Flame, meaning they are friction activated.

They are indeed very close to Archer flame. They are also considerable light weight. Need more real data and actual product to see. I believe they use mini LEd bobber light. That is why it can be so light weight. Only issue I can think of going with that route of making a lighted nock is the reliability, battery life and brightness issues. But for $8.99, I do not think it is aiming at the same market as Firenock. Lumenok and Archer flame is going to lose some customer to them for sure as Walmart is going to be the main outlet of them. It would be nice to really test them and do some measurements to confirm my observations.

We just receive the very anticipated new product of our 2008 offering. TARGET/3D nocks. It turn itself off in 15 seconds after activation. The first run will come with red and green nocks. Very soon we shall also have our clear nocks too. Since Firenock polycarbonate nocks are field changeable, you can change the it to red, green, orange, blue, clear and yellow to color match with your custom built arrow. The new target nocks GST comes in a single back and it is the same weight as the standard GSH, so no need to worry about light not shutting off while practicing.
