well I tried my first homemade lighted nock turned out really well, i was thinking that it would not work as well as it did! it took about 20 minuets to do for less than 5 bucks a nock the only thing is you have to get it lined up right the first time or else you have to pull it out completly, dont twist it or it wont work as well and will start to flicker, found that out the hard way ::)oh well I'll know better on the next ones!if you dont know how to do this allready there is a vid on you-tube explaning on how to,pretty neat idea only takes 2 nock and a pull type thill battery.

I tried to make these as well. They are not durable, and I had two stop working after just clicking the light off, and on, three times. Also, when I tried getting more Thill lights...I was told that they are discontinuing the "Push - On Pull - Off" style in favor of the twist on..so there might be some old stock out there, but going forward there won't be. (this was from a distributor) I tried to contact the manufacturer with no reply to my email . It cost me a total of 20 bucks to have no working nocks for the season...after sending the last three back that were the Twist On - Twist Off. (They won't tell you unless you ask.) I'm pretty mechanically oriented, and I can't see using these. And believe me...I still wanted to get more lights and "MAKE" them work. Here's the links BT..oh yeah..I never posted it up because I didn't want to hear it from Dorge..especially after a crash , and burn.. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMqLT-4ezzkwww.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp;jsessionid=1GL3IPQZHMMWTLAQBBJCCNVMCAEFGIWE?id=0011798115124a&type=product&cmCat=perf&rid=0180101070502&xpid=k140749&cm_ven=Performics&cm_cat=Affiliate&cm_pla=choiceaccessories.com&cm_ite=DDI%20Link&_requestid=12492Don't be fooled by that package..the new ones all say "Twist On -Twist Off"...or some of the older ones say "Push On - Pull Off." I will say that they glow really brite...but those bobber lights were never meant for the impact of a high speed bow. JMHO... Let me know how yours hold up, or maybe give some pointers on how to keep them working...

i purchased my lights at basspro shops they seemed to have a pretty good stck of lights I tried to use a different brand with worse results. With the thill lights, before I twisted my first nock and damaged it it seemed to work pretty good but I only fired it a couple of times into a target but it did light up bright,i'm going to try another with a thill light keep you posted on my results.

Hey reflexhunter, what store are you near? I've looked on their online catalog (Bass Pro)and they are not offered. Cabelas says that they are back ordered..for weeks now,and there is no gaurantee that they will get the push on type...any chance you can pick a bunch up on your next trip over there, and I'll send you the money? PM sent..
