Two way's to go about it..one is to get Larry Wise's book "Core archery" {which you should get anyway..great read} and a Tru-Ball Sweet spot 2 back tension release. The Tru-ball has a safety so you don't have to worry about smacking yourself in the chops The other route, is to get the Carter Evolution + release, this is a true tension release and is fully weight adjustable.I use the Evolution now but I learned the BT first..I think it helped, my learning curve with the evo was very fast.

A pal of mine shoots a Carter - back tension release. He loves it, and to be totally honest about it all - he outshoots me any day of the week with it. (But don't let him know I said so!)
I shoot a Carter two-shot. I had an issue with it, and sent it back to Carter. The guy sent me a new one, no questions, quick turn on it - like the same week. Gotta love that!
