I'm looking for a bow quiver. I do generally hunt with the quiver attached. I like two piece quivers and, of course, my pro shop's pushing the Octane 2-piece. It looks awesome, but after purchasing a new set of strings, a sight, a dozen arrows, and six Silverflames, I'm not so interested in a $130 quiver. ;D. It's not a two piece, but I was looking at the Alpine Softloc 5 arrow quiver. Any other suggestions?

I have a question which will help narrow down the choices: assuming 1-piece quiver, do you like two arrow grippers or one with the head held in foam?

I like the two arrow grippers in a one piece quiver.

I think that you would like the soft loc. It is a really simple and quiet mount. A friend has one it I really like it.

Soft loc - is quiet and eaisly adjustable, grippers seem to wear out quick and the rubber wears real quick.
Trophy ridge - makes one that is really solid and quiet, but it is heavy (about twice as heavy as any other).
My vote would be the Bohning Lynx 6 - reasonable price ($25-30) has two sizes of grippers and they both grip well, soft rubber 1/8" liner (not foam) in the curved hood.
