Ripcord fall away rest?

Have an email sent off about my rest, won't cock into the up position, only works on the draw cycle. Happened this morning shooting in the backyard. Asked if it was something I could fix, will share whatever response I get.

is your activator rope worn? there is a little spring inside the cover that pushes up a small brass "stop" .... to let down the string has to be tight to pull the spring out of the way. If the rope was worn it might "stick" and give the spring too much resistance. that little brass stop can only go in the rest in one position and work correctly. (different sides are different thickness'. Hope that helps till they get you set up.

Nope, the cord is fine.
