This is a really neat little rest. It has containment, drops away, and doesn't have any cords attached. You can get the original one that is pictured here pretty cheap on ebay, or AT. They have a newer version that is featured on the Nap website called the "Quicktune Freedom"..watch the vid in the lower right hand corner of the home page under "flipper". www.newarchery.com/The newer version that doesn't let down when you do.

Yeah I think they finally have the bugs worked out of this rest as the original Flipper was first introduced 2 years ago and they had some bugs with it that were finally worked out, but now with the new Freedom I think this will be pretty good for NAP

I have been coveting a fall away but hate the string thing, add in the arrow being attached before the draw and I could be a happy camper

I just bought the flipper on AT for 20 bucks. If it works out, I might spring for the Freedom, and put them on all my bows. I love the simplicity of this rest.

The QUAD is top shelf. No doubt about that. I'm looking for a cord free alternative, and saving a few bucks wouldn't be bad either. I figure... I have a TM style rest on my Mojo, and that bow is deadly accurate. So I'll throw it on there, and if this flipper rest is just as accurate, silent, and has zero fletch contact, not to mention it's a containment rest..I think I have a winner. If not, it will be an awesome bowfishing rest on my FireFlight. IF it's all that, I can outfit 3 bows for what one QUAD will cost .

I got my Flipper rest today, and replaced my TM style rest on my Mojo. Now for my review (for whatever it's worth). First of all, it has very limited adjustment. To achieve centershot on my PSE Mojo, I ran out of threads in the micro adjustment. Not a big deal, except that the adjustment nob now rattles as it's loose on the rest. Second, to achieve a bullet hole through paper I had to go a 1/4" high with the nocking point. Third, the "flipper" hits you in the wrist. I had to install it to it's max away from the riser, but it still ticks me. Fourth, although it is silent on the draw, (I didn't get a "chirp"), it does have a tendency to skip along the rest as opposed to being smooth. This only happened a couple of times, not every time. Fifth, it's noisy (on release), but a lot of dropaways are. Sixth, don't creep, or your done. Seventh, I had zero fletching contact, and it does shoot consistantly. I will leave it on to see if I can walkback, then broadhead tune it when the weather permits. I could only shoot it in my basement at 12 yds for now. I'd like to know if there have been any changes other than the letdown feature to the Freedom rest. I definitely wouldn't use this rest for hunting, I might even put the TM style rest back on the Mojo. I'll find some use for it eventually.JMHO.

Thanks for the review SPIKER I was wondering how this drop away worked when I was looking for the setup of my bow. I am glad I went with the QAD PRO HD.

I just emailed Nap to find out if they had ever heard about the windage adjustment not having enough throw to achieve center shot. Also the Freedom version doesn't let down unless shot, so that should take care of the creep problem. All in all, I would say as of now, there is a Quad in my future.
