Incredibly unlucky, I mean what are the odds the ricochet would be that close? Then again veerryy lucky, a couple inches lower and blindness could result. He needs to do some thanking to God

Some genes need to be remov.. did I say that Seriously though ... I have seen this very same scenario with guys shooting pistols at a 10' rock wall backstop. Those with me at the time thought it was a great spot to shoot; I kept right on going - luckily nobody got hurt but sometimes I have to wornder how people ever survive. Everyone has a gaurdian angel I believe, but some have more than one and others have a whole regiment kept busy at all times.

Obviously, this guy didn't see the movie A Christmas Story. Had he seen it, he'd have know that he was about to - shoot his eye out... ;D

There was a Utube of a guy shooting a 50mm at a steel plate. The round pieces went everywhere....one coming back and hitting something on the bench he was sitting at!. Anyone remember that one?.

This happened to a buddy of mine in grade 8 lost an eye from a bb. off the ceiling, Christmas morning. This was years ago.
