Where did he come from

I am still amazed after so many years how a deer can
sneek up on you.Yesterday my Son heard a squirrel behind
him and turned his head to see 4 big does blast off .
This morning I looked from side to side and out of know where
I have a little basket rack buck walking 40 yards away .
I never heard a thing till I saw him.I let him walk because
he looked like he had possibilities for next year if he can
stay alive.

Had the same thing happen to me a few days back.
It's like....they come out of hidden holes in the ground at times

They are ghosts. I usually leave my hood up so that I can turn my head from side to side without visible movement..

The 7 pt I took with the bow all the sudden was 25 yards away still not sure how he got there
