Hey as anybody heard of these or used them? www.bulldogtargets.com/store/index1.htmlJust wondering how well they work. I am not really looking for something to shoot with broad heads just field points. Or is there another suggestion, for about the same price. I have looked into the Rineharts 18-1, but I worry about them because of the over all lack of surface area and I don't have a great backstop, except for the fence I am looking for a larger target with more catch area.

It's hard to beat the Morrell Outdoor Range bag target or the Super Duper. Here are photos of my two. The one (first one) is the permanent one (concreted in 4x4 posts and the second is "portable" and made from 2 inch PVC pipe. Both work great and total cost with the bag is about $100-$125. Both of them have a rubber "bungee cord" stretched across behind the bag to allow some give and to prevent the bag from swinging.

Well after a month of delivery problems the target finally arrived here last night. With a 2 year old and a week old in the house I did not have a chance to use it yet, but it looks really nice. Hopefully tonight.
The delivery problems, first it was mailed to my in-laws who bought it for me, so it took a few days for Fed Ex to pick it up from there. Then somehow it made it from Detroit to Dallas, and that was the last tracking update. So I called Fed Ex and they lost it. How can you lose something that is 24" x 24" x 9.5" that weights 24 lbs I am not sure, but they did. So Bulldog sent another one, and it seems like before they had shipped mine, Fed Ex had found the other one and Bulldog had the target back to them.
Oh well, enough about that, I think that I am going to really like it. Lifetime warranty, heavy enough that it will not go any where, but still portable. I will have to take some pics after I use it.

It has been a while and I have not shoot as much as I would have liked. But I really like the target and I think that it is well worth the money. the only "issue" with it is sometimes it is hard to get the point back out of the outer cover. It seems to snag and need some force and twisting to get it out. Oh yeah the 3 shots are from 15 yards and the black circle is 4" dia, my best shooting so I had to take a picture.

That is a nice grouping. The target looks like it is holding up well.
