I just ordered some fastflight string and want to learn how to make my own long bow string any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Did you see page 3 of Stick&String? called doing the FlemishTwist. covers string making pretty well.

Yea I looked at the flemish twist I wasnt sure if you could use fast flite string to do that. But I guess that answers my question thanks . BT I will let you know how it turns out when I get the string in the mail

99% of the strings I make are"fastflight" flemish with padded loops(2 extra 10" strands per bundle at each loop end), the only problems I've had are with TS-1 , stretching and creeping with bows over 60#'s, I switched to d-75thin, which is essentially the same material, and have had no further problems....... SMJ is correct on the older bows the new FF string materials will eat through the nocks!!

thanks smj and voodoo my board just got here today so I will let you know how it goes. I have a bear patriot "byron ferguson" and it says fastflite is o.k to use.

well after two failures my third one finally turned out.I have shot it about 50 times and now I have to add some twist to the string, it is stretching which I figured it would. I need to get another color to go with my black, because it is frustrating with only one color but it can be done. I would post pictures , but I am the 2nd dumbest computer operator in the world , and I have no idea how to do it.
