Does a pro chrono plus have a meter per second mode? I got my duct taped chronograph to give me a number just now. But it kept saying 80, 80, 81, 79, 80..... So I assumed that was in m/s and converted that to feet per second and got 262.5 ft/sec. That sounds fairly reasonable for a Black Ice at 60 lbs wiht a 378 grain arrow, 28.5" draw, right?
If I have jabbed at the button enough to get my chrono into m/s, how do I change it back? I don't have any instructions for the contraption....

I have a pro chrono ... when it says 80 or 79 I figured out that one of its sensors saw a shadow but not both ... need more light. I might have read the directions.

I was poking around and found some instructions for a pro chrono plus on the web. They said that to switch from m/sec to ft/sec, push the mode button (for lack of something better to call it) and while pushing the button turn the unit off and then back on. That is supposed to toggle between m/sec and ft/sec. I haven't tried it yet, but I shall... I can't believe I got mine to read anything!! But as they say, if 'it' can't be fixed with bailing wire or duct tape, 'it' is BROKEN!!

Oops! I did forget to add to the list "hit it with a hammer"! Obviously I don't have a bright future as a handy man!!
