Great news. We have the crossbow nock in stock now. FYI, we have tested it with 3 of the the TenPoint crossbows which all claims that they need a flat nock. From the test we did in the pro-shop who now carries it, we can now conclude that the half moon will work on crossbow that stated it need a flat nock. As a matter of fact, Larry of Wolf Hollow say that he did have a few dry fire due to poor bolt placement with the flat nock, but never with the half moon. And Firenock v2.0c works beautifully with TenPoint (a flat nock crossbow). Shall keep on testing other flat nock cross bow to keep the record straight for all.

What is the story with a flat nock being dangerous? I have been using both flat and half moon nocks in my Tenpoint.
The half moon nock makes sure I load my crossbow exactly the same way everytime.
The flat nock eliminates that need. So it offers the advantage of allowing the arrow to just be placed vane down. Also, the half moon nock does not align perfecly with the string on my Tenpoint. This causes some downward pressure on the nock which could be affecting arrow flight. I'm in the process of building some similar arrows. Some flat and some half moon to confirm if this is affecting arrow flight.

What we have find out is that the standard half moon's angle is way to sharp, there is no give. the bolt need to be perfectly place on the slot in order to work right, every time. The standard flat nock on less tolerance crossbow may jump string.
