I am going to contact Parker about this, but I thought I'd run this by you guys.
I noticed this evening the one strand on one of the cables on my Parker Terminator broke. Does this require immediate replacement?
I want to make sure my xbow is up and running three weeks from now when the season opens.

If you have 3 weeks then do it IMO. That string is a continuous loop I believe and that broken strand can cut the others pretty quickly if it is truly a continuous loop

Thanks BT. I'll contact Parker in the morning. Grr. Things like this make me nervous before the season starts. If they do take it back to get the cable replaced, I will be a wreck until I get it back. At least it didn't happen the day before season opens.

It wouldn't be that big of a deal, except for the fact that I loaned my backup crossbow to my hunting partner. I do have my compound bow set up and ready to go, so it's not all bad.

Called Parker this morning. They are sending me a set of bus cables and a cable slide free of charge.
Apparently, whoever assembled the crossbow did not put on the cable slide. I didn't know there was a cable slide.

Good for them....thats a good pic up and worth a mention back to corporate IMO

Okay! Crossbow's up and running again! I got the cable/slide and took it and the crossbow over to a local pro shop and they took care of it.
I'm going to email Parker Bows and let them know I appreciated their fast and excellent customer service.

Here is the email I sent,
To the people at Parker Bows,
A couple days ago, I called because one of the strands on the cable of my Parker Terminator had broken. After discussing this with your representative, we discovered that the cable slide was missing on my Crossbow.
Today, I received a replacement cable and slide in the mail.
Thanks again for excellent and courteous service.
Sincerely,
