I ordered the Piston Points for the Terminator.
My Horton Stag is slower around the 250 -260 fps.
You mentioned that you thought that the Piston Point would be better with the higher Kinetic Energy bows. Do you think the Spitfires would work better with the slower xbow (in your opinion).
Both xbows are going to be put to use this deer season.

The spitfires certainly would require less energy IMO but I would look toward the weight of your shaft before giving up on the Piston Point. If you are making momentum up where K.E. lacks due to speed alone , the Piston Point may still be a consideration.
If it were me....
I would choose either for shots inside of 25 yards and would go with the spitfires beyond 30 yards. Only you know what you are likely to do so you can take that for what it is worth.
Keep in mind that this is still an opinion and I have not clarified the facts yet on the limitations of the piston point if there are indeed any to consider.

Thanks! Even with the terminator, I doubt that I will take shots past 25 yards! (Just the way I do things). The biggest thing I think I'm going to have to worry about is making good shots in the vitals!
It should be an exciting season!
Thanks again!

For years, I was the type just to find a broad head that looked good and screw it on. Over the last couple years I have tried to do more research as to what works best.
This site gives me more information to help me out with my decisions.
Trust me, if I didn't agree with things that I am reading here, I would be doing things differently.
