I have been shooting my old Horton Stag Crossbow fairly well (I thought) by cocking it by hand. I found out that when another person cocks it by hand and shoots it, the zero is way off. Usually to the left or right by several inches. I had heard this could be an issue, but hadn't admitted it could happen to me. I went back and zeroed it in using a rope cocking device and have found it much more consistant, no matter who cocks and shoots it with the "cocking aid". I haven't run into this with the Parker Terminator, only because I have so far only used the rope cocking device. Who Knew?? Just thought I'd share...

Yup. The cocking rope pretty much assures that the string get locked in the same potion each time Cheap unit too so it's really worth it
