Today ended up being a very good Day. I live in Virginia and one of the local gunshops had a crossbow promotion. They had a Rep from Parker Bows there letting people try out their Crossbows.
If you tried out one of there crossbows they put your name in a hat. At the end of the day they picked a name out of the hat. That person wins a new Parker Terminator Crossbow.
Anyway, I was the lucky winner. I will go over to the shop tomorrow to pick it up!!
I am very excited!! Thought I would share! I'll let you know how I like it. If it's anything like the one's I got to try out, I will be very pleased!
I'll let you all know how I like it!

So?! .... Whats the deal? Did it come with a scope or other accessories? Do you have it now?

Yep! I have it now! It has a 4 power scope and also came with a quiver and 4 Beman Carbon Crossbow Bolts!
I am thoroughly impressed with it!
After half a dozen shots getting it sighted in (it wasn't that far off to begin with), it shoots great! At the twenty yard mark (on the bench) all my bolts were hitting each other. I decided quickly to stop shooting for group size for risk of damaging the bolts!
My off hand shooting I need some work on, but was still impressed.
I feel very blessed, because I never would have spent that much to buy that Xbow and to have it won by chance is great!!
Plus I still have my old Horton that my Father in Law likes to shoot. I'm looking forward to a great deer season.
Sorry for rambling! I'm driving the wife crazy!

It is the 150LB version rated at 320 fps. I have had good success with the hammerhead mechanicals with my compound, so I think I will test a couple of them with the new parker to make sure they don't open prematurely because of the extra speed. If they perform well, I'll use them.
