Not as much interesting as idiotic! I could out shoot most crossbows with Black Betty and I have yet to blow through or deflect off a target. Such a stupid comment.
A simple rule that you have to cock and load at the target would have sufficed. That fool at Rinehart should be canned IMO. He would be canned if he ever got that stupid on my company time.
Very irritating to see the level of stupidity that some people possess

I don't want a crossbow dry fired by me any more than I do any other item. The rule about 'speeds' might be viable, but if so.. give a top speed for all projectiles and make everyone comply.

I don't see speed as a consideration personally. It's not like the targets wont catch them and as I said .... most X-Bows wont keep up with the top compounds. After reading this I went out and re-tuned B.B. I have an IBO arrow (a bit heavier actually) going 327 I want to see them react to that when I bring up this thread at the sign in table. This is a paid archery shoot .... you cant take my money and then refuse access simply because I brought a bow that you don't like ..... unless you are prepared to refund the cost of my transportation , fee's paid and compensation for my time. Those guys in Canada were behind the 8 ball because they would have had to transport themselves back to the county where the shoot was in order to follow up. I wont be that hard pressed I don't like bully's ....I can be a bigger one if pushed....reguardless the stature of the bully

I don't see speed as a consideration personally. It's not like the targets wont catch them and as I said .... most X-Bows wont keep up with the top compounds. It is not a matter of most. You know of a compound that can shoot a 425 grain bolt/arrow at 350 fps? The X-Force can't. www.pse-archery.com/pdf/X-Force%20Data.pdfShould they have posted exclusion, yes. Should they now make a ruling, yes. Basically the organizers were not prepared for a crossbow to show up and they decided not to honor any. Right decision? Probably not. Making excuses? Bad form. Easiest thing to do is say that X weight arrow/bolt and Y speed/fps are viable what ever you use. Have them shoot through a chrono and let them go through. But if they are concerned about damage to the targets, and they don't have the expertise by sight to understand which crossbows exceed their limits, then they have to ban them all.

Funny....I can't read this.... ;D ;D ;D You think I can't?..... Your wrong!! Just can't post!! Even funnier is how they are allowing a critisism of the R100..DOESN'T SEEM POLITICALLY CORRECT? I can post here, and my feelings are that what happens on another site should stay on that site. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

And they say ignorance is bliss? That guy should be in la la land then!! ;)That thread is about to get interesting. Seems that the Rep from Rhinehart is placing the blame on someone from Lincoln Bowmans.

Not really a debate .... Rinehart wouldn't allow a person to shoot their 100 with a crossbow. Of course....they wouldn't let anyone shoot in CT this year , so we are all in the same boat
