That Doe is a real Trophy! It's harder to put something like that on the meat pole than a typical 8pt

Turkey season will be coming soon, so here is my first and only turkey taken with a bow. I shot this trophy gobbler at the High Point Ranch in Missouri last year in April 23rd. It is a double bearded bird, one with 11 1/2" and the other 8" in length and 1 3/4" spurs.

Thanks guys ! BT, I have footage of that gobbler roosting the evening before my three day hunt. I shot him four hours before my flight back home on the last morning. I'll post the whole story for ya' titled : "Down The Dirt Road" Stilllearning, That doe was the only deer I really couldn't make look small while standing next to her!

Dont happen to have any film of that chair collapsing in the blind do you? ;D Sadly no! , Nathan couldn't get any extra pro staffers to come along to film my hunt for the show. It was me alone in that blind all the time. I tell ya, Mo have a lot of game everywhere. You can see deers, turkeys on the fields at any time of the day. It's totally different from PA. This year we'll be down there again with Nathan ,The CREW along with a couple of our members, ... like BowMan and JustTracey.

Seems like you guys had the reputation of being the road kill capital of the world my entire life? I don't wanna' go off topic here, but to answer your question,... It's true! There's always been a game of "tug of war" between the Game Comission and the hunting community. In my opinion the deer management program could be done in a better fashion than what it is. The deer population is incredible, although most of the weekend warriors say there are not many deers. On average a year, over 100,000 deers get killed by cars. That's about 10 % of the total deer taken every year by PA hunters. The main source of the problem is the uncontrolable developments and the bad distributions of tags on all the wild managements units. Here in PA we can't bait, we can't hunt on Sundays, our rifle seasons are too short, there's only three wild management units that enjoy extended deer seasons while the rest of the state don't. I can go on and on, but don't want to rant of topic here.
