I really don't remember if I showed you guys some of the pics from my elk hunt in December. I apologize as it was a rifle hunt, but my brother didn't shoot a bow at the time and the year before he worked his BUTT off helping me get my elk out, so I put off archery for the elk and concentrated on getting him a bull. Now he has a 101st and is getting geared up so we can start trying to get an archery bull tag!! Attachments:

Doegirls first ever compound Buck (She has killed many deer but not a buck with a compound) She used a silverflame broadhead (150 grain) and a Victory HV shaft powered by a Hoyt Vector Turbo set at 54#. The shot was at 24 yards and entered low and through the heart. The Buck ran 40 yards and piled up at the bottom of the hill that she was hunting. The biggest thing (in my mind) was that she was all alone on the recovery and had to drag this beast the 1/4 back to her vehicle and then loaded it by herself. Attachments:

Glad we thought to do this back in the beginning. It was really nice to be able to look back through these photo's. I remember most all of the threads where some of these pictures came from.
