Alaska bound

I leave in about another week , I so stoked!!! Our plan is halibut and salmon fishing with a caribou on the side. We leave Anchorage just before labor day and drive over 16 hours to get above the Arctic circle. Drive to deadhorse AK then work our way down looking for bou!! spend a week on this!! last time we were successful don't know this time not much movement yet but in a week things can change!! will try to keep in touch hopefully we can remember to run the camcorder so capture everything ..maybe i can send report with pics and video

Have fun when you get up here. I hear that the silvers are showing up in good numbers in most areas. I will not be getting back in AK until the 7th of Sept.

I'd love to hook up some of those halibut.
I used to love reading about fishing for those when I was a kid and seeing the pictures of those huge fish.

thanks guys !! just got off the phone with my brother and we had better hurry on the silvers the run is ending so that's first on the agenda!! I get there wed. fish Friday drive for hunt sat. hunt sat or sunday...put week in and hopefully score have access to computer up there so i will keep you posted!!!
