WOW!! That seems almost unreal!! That is one big eagle...even with that being a small deer!!

Anyway, you'd no doubt have to share the kill...and I don't think I'd want to argue that point with that eagle!!! ;D

Me either. I think I would have to let the eagle go ahead and eat that feller. The only way I would argue with that dude would be with my 3 1/2 inch turkey loads out of my 870 pump!!!

Yup, Hunting deer and antelope with Golden eagles is actually not all that rare in the falconry community. My buddy is a falconer and plans on moving out west one day and doing the same thing. He had 2 different Red Tailed hawks at different times and now has a pair of harris hawks. they kill mostly rabbits and squirrels, but they have paired up and tried to take on a coyote and a few turkeys......they have not gotten the kill on that big of an animal though......just fur and feathers.
