Doegirl, Funny you should mention that. The 07 synergy will only go to 27". BUT.. I found an 08 Synergy XT with Fire cams. The cams on this are the same as Red's bow but with 70 lbs limbs. With draw modules it goes from 24" to 28". After reading some of the post here I took the plung and hit the buy it now button on EBAY and its killing me to wait. The 07 is already on EBAY now to recoupe some funds. The good news is now I have a primary and backup bow. I got the Bengal yesterday but the rest an dthe sight wont be here until tomorrow. The Bengal in APG is a sweet looking bow and I like the grip. I definitely will not be applying hockey tape to this one. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get a chance to snap a few pictures and post them.

Looking forward to seeing your impressions on this one. Also....more importantly , your impressions of the reduced draw length and it's effect on you.

No pictures yet but I did finally get the Bengal setup and was able to shoot it today. First impression out of the bow is that this is a sweet looking little bow. The APG camo is full of detail abd the dip job is pretty decent. Asthetically it looks nice. The bow draws smooth as a baby's bottom and has very little hand shock. Now for the thngs I did not like. The draw modules are plastic, yeap thats right plastic. I realize this is supposed to be an affordable bow but plastic? When shooting the bow I kept hearing a vibration. It took me awhile to figure out what it was but finally I discovered the source. The draw modules are kinda L shaped and have two screws at the bottom but nothing at the top. The result is a quite noticable rattle when shooting. Also you can not change the Modules without a bow press. One of the screws is mounted be hind the limb. mtshooter was definitely right. This bow for lack of better terms has been neutered. You can most definitely shoot great groups with this bow but it just does not have the gusto I want. There is in my opinion a considerable amount of drop from 20 to 30 yards. The Bear Truth hands down is a better bow for the money. With that said I will more than likely crank this down to 55 lbs and use it for a bow fishing rig.

Couple things more on the Bengal. From the bow scale the draw weight is only reaching 63 lbs. Now I'm not so impressed with the draw cycle. I e-mailed Martin and asked about that. As far as I can tell the limb bolts are bottomed out. Also chrono averaged out at 256 at 26".
While I was in dicks Sporting Goods I decided to check the 07 M-Pro cams on the bows there. The area where I was getting the vibration is a blank space on the old cams. Therefor there should be no rattle. Just thought I would mention that.
