Is there a standard distance to shoot from?

5 feet from the front of your chrono to front foot. You want to make sure the arrow has completely cleared your arrow rest. Otherwise you can get some funky readings.

I generally do 3' from the tip of the arrow when the bow is extended but as long as the arrow clears the bow as CC says...thats the important thing. What did you get out of your rig anyway?

I got 220-221 @ 45# .Gave bow one turn and figured it was about 46-47.Put it on scale(at shop to replace one rubber dampener on bow)and had him check it.It said 48-49 I had a hard time with that since I only went one turn!.It tested 228-229 fps.Now I am wondering what the bow will top out at.I seem to have a long way to go with the adjustments, unless the closer you get to the end the less you get
