The Amazon link is the same item that I tried to buy from Martin  At least I have this source to fall back on but I still have to ship it to the US as they won't ship it to Canada  Thanks for the input. What is your postal code and city? |

Who would'a thunk a cable gaurd would be such a big deal. I scoured my shop - but the closest critter I have is a rear mount sts. No threads, no flanges, looks to have the same z shape, just need to take off the rubber boot. At $35 I would think you could find a used cable gaurd or a used STS. I was thinking that it wouldn't be too difficult to get a new one  Boy was I wrong  We have only one local bow ship and they specialize more in paintball stuff than archery  There is supposed to be a Martin dealer somewhere in my province. I have a number and am going to give them a try today  |

Well, I have to give kudos to my local archery shop I took the bow down and he took a guard rod out of one of the shop bows and installed it in the Obsession and it should work just fine. Cost about $25 which isn't bad considering the difficulty of getting one. Thanks again for everyones input on this |

It sounds funny, but for the 25 bucks, consider yourself lucky... You guys need to stock up on some supplies next time you come down to the States! |
