My 4" feathers are sticking 3/4" into my whisker biscuit.I have been shooting the same 3 arrows and they are beginning to get a little rough looking. They still fly good.I only have 6 arrows(just getting started). Make that 5 one hard oak stump ruined one.I have the Mathews Mustang with a VERY short brace.I just ordered 12 arrows with 3 " feathers!.Anyone see any problem's only shooting 20 yds,and can't see shooting past 35 in the future! Thanks Pete.

I had to get new arrows when I got the new bow and started with a wisker biscuit for the first time. I switched to the 2 inch flights and they work great

This is what they look like with a Ripcord dropaway....6" brace on the Vulcan: That's the territory with a WB...."FLETCHING WEAR".....if you don't mind it, and the arrows are flying good, then it's ok.....I personally cannot deal with it, so I use a dropaway. Blazers will hold up much better to the punishment of the WB, and give you better clearance between the fletch and the rest....just my.02..

I'd have to agree with my bud, Spiker. I use a Muzzy Zero Effect with both feathers and high profile vanes...no clearance issues and it works flawlessly. I have a Limb driver on the Elite Fire coming...I already know there are no clearance issues with it. Best of luck,

Keep in mind that I also fletch those feathers way back towards the nock....they will be on your face a little like that, but that's the beauty of feathers... Thanks Red!

My 4" feathers are sticking 3/4" into my whisker biscuit.I have been shooting the same 3 arrows and they are beginning to get a little rough looking. Feathers are going to look rough no matter what after a short time in the biscuit Not that they dont work because I felt they worked better than vanes in that set up. Are they still 4" feathers? Manufacturers tend to start well off the nock since they have to accommodate finger shooters too. Crowding the nock would screw up those folks and so to make a one fits all arrow they generally start at least an inch off the nock. My suggestion?.....get a grayling jig (which will last about 20 years) and go to a 4 fletch pattern with 3" feathers. Why?.... Well...Four 3" feathers gives you the same 12" area as three 4" feathers but it gives 25% better guidance The added bonus beyond that (in my opinion) is that you now dont need two colors of feathers and you dont have to search fro a cock feather when nocking an arrow The grayling fletcher is dirt cheap and darn near free when you consider the incredible longevity of it.

If you don't mind a little critisim spiker, loose the brass nock and change the stock glide. It will give you an edge. Love the red! just put some trebark red on some fmj's, gateways, I was impressed. As far as seeing them I shot them with some white fletch arrows, couldn't tell the diff.
Stock strings could go.

Criticism ...me.....hah!...No doubt nodog...great minds think alike!.....that was the stock setup from the pro shop, with the stock string...as you can see, I had already worn out the stock string, and I think that was only a month in. I do my own work, so I changed the slide with the string when I put the winners choice on. Here's my setup...complete with speed nocks.. That'll teach me to post old pics...lol...

I'd have to agree with Spiker that the blazers hold up extremely well in the WB. If you still want to use feathers BT 's advice on the grayling fletcher is golden. I got one of those as per his recommendation and absolutley love it. If I can use it anyone can.
