Well my cable thats attached to my limbs came off earlier today when I was shooting. Now it is only attached in 3 places I think it was all cause by a c-clip that I guess fell off lord knows where it is now probably in my yard somewhere. Is this worth a short term fix? cause I would hate to have to wait until July or Aug to get a new one.

ummm... You're talking like one of the plastic clips that the loop end of the cable goes around? Personally if it has anything to do with a string or cable I wouldn't try any sort of 'short term fix', there is alot of tension stored in these things and an improper fix could be very very hazardous IMO. What sort of bow you shoot, and why would it take till july or august to get it fixed correctly?, sorry for the ignorance on my part but I'm asking so we may better help you. Ster

Not sure what you mean. Are you referring to the outboard side of the limbs and are there 4 posts ?. A c-clip is pretty easy to come by at the hardware store. Re-attach and replace the clip. If you are talking about the bushing that the string loop goes around then there is nothing you can do but replace it. Check for limb damage visually and then test for cracks by slowly increasing weight on the limbs by drawing it an inch at a time. I would suggest a talcum powder wipe to reveal cracks/stress fractures.
Ideally....I would stress test the limbs in a bow press.
