Which new bow to buy

Wapitifever hit the nail on the head. If you have the luxury go to the pro shops and shoot the different bows. You'll know which one you want the instant you shoot it.

I have unfortunately never own a hoyt. But I have owned a few Mathews bows. The Outback was about as smooth as they come. I still miss that bow.

But just shoot'em that will tell you what you need to know without a doubt. Good luck. Looking forward to hearing your decision.

ppssssssssttttttt!! DXT!!!!! smoother than dren.....dead in hand its my next one but i agree with above go shoot all the bows you can the right one will hit you like a ton of bricks!!! whisper creek is my bow going to shoot in texas but i'm a mathews fan!! tee hee

I called a local shop today and they said that they have an DXT and a Katera in stock that i can go shoot. Both of these bows are going for about 750. Is this the norm or should I look for a better deal

I agree, thats not too bad IMO.You could possibly find a bit cheaper but not much.Good luck.
