I picked up a new 07 Synergy today. As soon as I find my camera I'll get some pics. (moving has been a blast ) I need to make a few adjustments it appears as the modules seem to be set at 28". Being a short groundhawg looking sorta fella I need a 27" draw length. Now all I need to do is pick a rest and sight. I was thinking about trying the ripcord rest or the QAD rest. For sights I was thinking G5 Optix. This is like a late Christmas for me. More to follow.

The Viper Microtune is also a great sight. Ultimately, it is your decision...I just feel that are several better sights for the money than the G5. Hope this was helpful.

Red, Thanks for the input and the heads up on the G5. I reallly like the looks of the Copper John you mentioned. For now though I took the Tru-Glo off the Truth. BUt I did however manage to pick up a QAD Ultrarest Pro-Series. I put it on but it seems like it maybe a little noisey. The rest does not appear to be contacting the shelf but then again I will not know really until I shot it. I am about ready to break out the lights and start shooting at night. :-) Anyhow here is a pic of the bow. I added string leeches to the cables, a S-Coil stabilizer, teh QAD rest and a 7/32 peep sight. I still need to add cat wiskers, a nocking loop and serve in the peep. Also I had to adjust the draw length. I have the diagram of the cams and the settings if anyone needs it for a 07 Synergy with EZ mods. My camera pretty much suxs for details and such. Oh yeah I forgot to mention the grip on this baby is thin as can be and it has a nice little grove for your thumb. I have not had the heart to do it yet but eventually I will wrap the grip with hockey tape. With the tape it just feels like I have a better grip.

That's a sweet setup. Let us know how the Quad works out. I really want to get one on my next bow. I like the idea that it won't let down when you do. Congrats on a sweet rig!

Spiker, Thanks. I will certainly will keep you up to date on the QAD rest. As I have said I have not shot the bow yet but just playing with the rest it seems a tad bit on the noisey side. I have put mole skin on the shelf and on the rest arm and manually disengaing the rest gives off a quite noticable sound. I have a Trophy Ridge DropZone on the Truth bow and that is quiet as a mouse. Just a little tricky to setup by yourself. I do like the idea that the QAD contains the arrow completely. That would have come in handy last year when I was chasing that Texas Dall around the hills of Tennesse. :-)

Definitely like the looks of the Cams on that bow. You going to get to put it through the chrno any time soon?

The card I got with the bow says 314 fps witha 350 grain arrow @ 27.5 " draw length. I definitely want to get my hands on a chrono as my cousin has an Alliegence. I'd like to see how they satck up between each other. Maybe this weekend.

Ok shot the Synergy through a chrono this weekend. Shooting roughly a 415 grain arrow I got 279 consitently with spikes to 281 at 27". I did run into a slight issuw with the sight. I took a Tru-Glo Extreme Micro adjust sight off the Truth until I could get another one. I could not get enough movement to the left on the sight. My cousin had a toxonics sight that I bolted on to see if thet would work. I was able to get enoght movement out of that sight. So off to the local archery shop, 1 hour away, and picked up a Cobra Sidewinder for now. I got my top pin setup this morning. The more I shoot the bow the more I like it. It draws alot smoother than I expected. In fact I had the oppurtunity to shoot an Alliegance this weekend as well. The Allie spit out the same arrow I was shooting at 275 set at 70 Lbs and 27". So the Synergy and Allie appear to be comparable in regards to speed. The draw cycle on the Allie is tighter though I think and the pocket is shallow on the Allie. She just wants to go! :-)
The QAD rest worked very well. I did have a slight issue with it dropping on occasion but adjustments to the cord fixed that pretty easily. My cousin liked the QAD so much he ha dme pick him one up at the bow shop when I got the Sidewinder. So far I have not had any issues and I love the total confinement of the arrow. You do have to put moleskin or something on the forks or you get some noise when drawing the bow.
