If it werent for the help I recieved when I was trying to figure out my very first bow, I probably wouldnt still be shooting, gettting knowledgable help around here is like trying to find a pin in a haystack, and then you have to wait weeks for them to fit you in. I am not that patient lol

It is so refreshing to come to a site that helps feed the Archery Addiction without all the bashing, and to be able to get honest answers to the proper equipment answered.

hey I just thought of a question, what brand sights do yall like? I noticed that Copper John sights are made down the road from here, they any good? Very good. I had a Copper John 5 pin sight on my old Hoyt bow. That bow was involved in car accident. I slammed into the back of Ford Excursion in a dinky little Hyundai Elantra. The bow was in the back seat. Was supposed to be a quick trip and I didn't bother to case it. The bow catapulted forward between the front seats and flew into the dashboard. The sight didn't even have a scratch It was loose, but that was it. The bow was scratched but survived too. The car, however, was FUBAR.

I like the copper john alot but for the money....I could buy a half dozen truglo that I currently employ. I doubt very much that the C.J. could outlast that many swap outs and if so.....by then , there would be something better anyway

I have tried a lot of sights, but I will not stray from my Cobra sidewinder. I love that site and I have yet to break one. That says a lot. I use and abuse my equipment. It is in the field more days a season than most rigs get out a few years!

I was using a three pin when I started but have since added a couple more pins so that I have five.
