I'd probably still shoot that way if the tired old eyeballs of mine still worked the same! I really fought going to a peep... Seeing better strings come out that eliminated the need for the rubber tube finally got me to switch over. I just flat refused to use the rubber tube!!!
One thing I question about this new pinless sight - they add pins to effect the same result as using the string for a reference. However, the pins are so close to the opening that I would think the worth of the opening would go away, you'd really just be shooting pins agains. Why spend the $$'s on the open sight, if you then add pins so close together? If you have two items to line up, the farther apart they are the more accuracy you would gain from using them, the closer together they are and then jointly farther away from your eye makes me think this sight is about half gimick.

VBG makes the brightest pins I have ever seen. I just picked up a VBG Triangle off AT and I have to put a wrap on it.

I have been shooting the Pino for a few weeks now.
I does what it is supposed to.
You can throw your peep away.
Put the green pin in the diamond and squeeze.
I am going to give it a couple more weeks and try a few different releases.
I think once you shoot it enough to be confident in it , it will make a killer hunting sight.
I will let you know

Sounds good but what will all of that stuff in your field of view look like right at dark trying to punch a hole in the big one? ? Just to much obstruction for me.
