Well, long story made short I finally killed a bull with my bow this week.We had a tough season but ended up hunting a pond because of the high temps. This guy showed up about an hour before dark, as he lowered his head to drink at 30 yards,I hit full draw aimed and watched my arrow hit him perfectly. Suprisingly he only lurched forward a few feet into the water and looked around.Panic hit me..'did I miss him?' So I nocked another arrow and hit him in the front shoulder, this time he turned and ran back over the dam. After 30 minutes we took up his trail. He only made it about 40 yards, those hellrazors rule. Sorry for the bad pic quality, I broke my good camera earlier in the season. Best part of this was my little brother and my wife both got to see him come in and the shooting, I think they're both hooked now take care, Ster Edited for better picture quality

Wow - that is a nice bull, congratulations! Those early season temperatures were really warm. It still seems really warm out here... I am used to feet of snow for the last weekend of elk season, it seemed very different this year. Again, great bull!
