I picked up one of these in November. The bow is very quiet and it gets a little tight at the peak, kinda like the Bowtech Tribute with the speed mod, but other than that pretty smooth. As for the grip. I like the small grip because I like to wrap the grip on my bow with hockey tape. My only complaint with this bow is the camo dip, it scratches way to easily. The outback I hunted with prior to the Truth didn't have a scratch on it after two years of use. This thing is all scratched up  but other than that a decent bow for the price. |

Good to have the opinion of an owner harveycj  I like a small grip as well but it just looked painful to me when considering my poor circulation and the cold.  |

I have held this bow and I like that grip. Bear stepped it up a bunch with the Truth.
Seeming how yesterday they announced they have aquired Trophy Ridge...I could see myself shooting one of these bows......

used to shoot a g2 (escalade sports also) and for the money it was a top notch bow!!! just shot the truth, code and instinct over at gander mountain ( man's store) (hee hee) again not bad and me know being a Mathews guy...... my only complaint was on the truth too skinny a grip!!!! me like meat on my bow grip, not a waif model grip, just my .02 I was trying them cause my brother was looking at them and wanted my honest answer..... buy the best you can afford, and what shoots best for you..... who said that / buy Mathews!!!!! there I'm back on the program sorry med's didn't kick in!!! ;D  |
