Ok....I would like to get my Bear Code set up properly, and there is so much out there, I dont know where to start.... I am thinking of going with some type of WB rest, just not sure which one...I wanna shoot carbons....again, not sure which ones to try. Anybody recommend any certain type of vanes? Was thinking bout mabe gettin some quickspins.....how should I fletch em?..Helical or just offset...if offset, which way?
For a release...just need something durable, and maybe length adjustable???
Oh yeah.....need a good sight and peep too... What do you guys think about the pendulum sights?
Kinda lost here boys...PLEASE HELP!!!!

the WB is a good choice, if i were not worried about speed and wanted a good strong moderate weight hunting arrow i would look an Easton axis arrow. I love 3" duravanes. i shoot a helical. Any peep will work, I like the G5 but fletcher makes a good one too, I like 3/16-1/4" but some like bigger. I think cobra is the best bang for the buck when it comes to sights, I have all my rigs with them on it. I don't like pendulums unless you are hunting from treestands all set at the same height in flat terrain. you won't notice much difference in impact with a fixed pin from above.

KEEP IT SIMPLE ! Don't go hog wild setting this bow up .....You will become refined very quickly and therefore will have things that you will wish you had never gotten before to long , more than likely. I would suggest going cheap all the way at first since even the cheapest things will work and they are easier to chuck once you are ready too. Whatever you get must also be very easy to adjust and deal with. I suggest a peep that does not require a press A release that is dirt cheap a sight that is dirt cheap The rest ....I would go W.B. because it is so easy to tune and is able to take abuse. As you become proficient and excel you will be more understanding of what it is that you want out of any piece of equipment and therefore will be more able to guide yourself in the correct direction with only minor assistance as to product quality. Thats my 2 cents

Matt, you are the man! FC, this guy is better than ebay, he can buy and sell equipment faster than my Mach X. ;D That WB is an excellent choice, and that's the one you want if your going that route. Can you fletch? If so then try some different vanes, personally, I would stay away from the quickspins (they are not meant to be used in the biscuit anyway), and go with the Blazer's fletched offset. The Blazer is the only vane that will withstand the punishment from the biscuit, and not wrinkle or tear. And they fly awesome with broadheads. I'd go with the Carbon Express CX arrows. They will stand up to hitting things other than the target a lot better than some others. The PSE Radial Xweaves are indestructible as well. I just had a bad experience with the Easton LIGHTSPEEDS that I just got recently...I missed a 3D target at BT's and the arrow exploded when it hit the woods. My Xweaves, and Carbon Express have all been through the woods many times with no damage. I'm sure some others will have some good advice for you, but that's my .02. And Matt, if he doesn't want that rest, I'll take it!

FC - tie in with elk4me - and he can tell you how to find all the good deals ... trust me he likes to buy and sell. I agree with BT in that it's best to keep it simple. sight - all metal 3 pin would be my choice: eg. - pse f-18 or copper john hunter rest - WB of matts release - you do want one that is adjustable (or at least that you can change length to fit your hand) eg. - cobra e-z adjust peep - I'm trying to think of one that doesn't need a press I would chose one based on your string : 2 strand style with a quality string or a rubber tube style with an unknown string. If your carefull you can install a peep with/out a press using a blunt string spreader-opener.

Matt, I sent ya a PM, will try to give a call tomorrow...
I like the peep my buddy Vince has on his bpw, its just the round one that fits on your string and doesn't need a tube...will probably go with one like that....Vince has a bow press if I really need one.
