Yep I heard they can sell what they have in inventory but cannot produce anymore until the outcome of the case...I'd wait for the dust to settle on this one

I still don't know the details of the law suit, so I'll hold off buying. But.....I shot another Elite last night. I'm actually not sure of the model. it was an all black riser and camo limbs. At 28.5" draw and a 350grain arrow at 70#'s it was shooting 320fps. Very smooth too, the draw cycle was hard but i like that. Great shooter.

Things can happen with any kind of manufacturing. A guy bought one last week and he went into the small range to see if his peep was correct..........he never put in an arrow and he was using a back tension release................he dry fired it at 72#'s at full draw. My buddies at the shop were expecting to see peices after hearing the noise. Nope the bow was perfect after inspection, other than having some slight damage to one cable. The cable was replaced and the bow tuned again...........shoots lights out.

Things can happen with any kind of manufacturing. Seriously. That looks like dremel work. On a $500-$700 bow?

I'm not saying that the pic isn't bad, I'm just saying the few elites I have shot and held were awesome. In terms of shooting, speed, and craftrsmanship.

I've heard that aside from the problems (which are serious all by themselves) the bow shoots relatively good. Unfortunately shooting the bow has become very hazardous. Look for a class action suit against Elite real soon. Too many injuries haved occured due to a bad design that was known about from the beginning.

First year growing pains I think. I dont think I like an inline cable post though, even a flared one. At the forces those bows and the bowtechs are shooting I'd almost want a closed clip system. A peg with a loop closure over it.
